Patrizia Sieweck ist eine Instrumentalistin und Sängerin im Bereich Folk, die vor allem in Berlin in zahlreichen Projekten und Bands aktiv ist. Sie ist eine versierte Fiddle- und Banjospielerin, sowie Gitarristin. Viele Reisen zu internationalen Festivals und Workshops machten es möglich, die Stilrichtungen einiger der besten Geiger in der Folk-Welt zu studieren. Besonders prägend waren dabei unter anderem die Zusammentreffen mit Brittany Haas, Aly Bain, Dirk Powell, Olivier Demers, Paul Bradley, Paul O'Shaughnessy, Lori Watson, Adam Sutherland und Shane Cook. Besonders Irish Folk, American Old Time, sowie schottische, schwedische, französische und englische traditionelle Musik gehören zu ihren Spezialgebieten. Aktuell tritt sie mit Cornamusa, Murphy's Law, Larkin, Nightlark (Ceilidh Band), und anderen auf. Außerdem wird sie gern als Solokünstlerin für Feierlichkeiten oder als Unterhalter für Bars und Pubs gebucht. Neben der Tätigkeit als Musikerin ist Patrizia als Tanzlehrerin für schottischen Ceilidh Tanz aktiv, eine Art Gesellschaftstanz, die auch für absolute Anfänger geeignet ist.
Patrizia Sieweck is a fiddle, banjo and guitar player as well as a singer and currently works in Berlin. Years of travels to festivals, workshops and sessions throughout Europe made it possible for her to study the violin styles of some of the best players in the folk world such as Brittany Haas, Aly Bain, Dirk Powell, Olivier Demers, Paul Bradley, Paul O'Shaughnessy, Lori Watson, Adam Sutherland and Shane Cook, to name a few. She has become an accomplished player of the Irish and American Old Time fiddle traditions but also dipped her toes into other musical heritage such as Scottish, Swedish, French and English traditional music. She currently performs with Cornamusa, Murphy's Law, Larkin, Nightlark (Ceilidh Band), and others. She is also a sought after solo musician for parties or as entertainer in bars and pubs.
